Question Mustang TB on LT1?

I'd like to use a Mustang TB on my Vic Jr. and I'm curious if anyone has ever wired one up using the stock ecm/wiring harness. If it comes down to it I guess I could use an LS1 TB but the Mustang stuff is so cheap I'd like to start there. It's for a 95 Formula. Thanks.

Dang, I was hoping this thread would be about using an DOHC 2-barrel throttle body on an LT1-type intake.

I belive a ford use's a 0~5v refferance and sensor ground would be same as would feed back to ecm. Just need to know what the pinout locations are for the ford sensor.
Ya tried a ford board yet for TPS pinout info?

I think your going to have more trouble that what you think. Your IAC and your TPS readings would need to be taken from the GM sensor, even then, your going to have to work around the throttle connection.

Nomad, that's why I'm hoping someone else has done the swap on an LT1. I did check out Wilson Manifolds website and it seems that they make TBs for LS1s. Never heard of anyone running one but if they can do one in a popular size like 90mm I'll probably go with that. I think FASTs new 90mm for the ls1 has some kind of odd bolt pattern or something? Thanks for the input guys.

If I can put a LS1 tb on a V6 useing the V6 sensors and wiring you should beable to use a stag tb.
You will have to test the stag sencors on the tb and see if there the same as yours like the tps resistance, play with the IAC it might work it might not.
You have to get creative and be orignal.
