I would REALLY like a 85-86 "4 eyed" coupe, but will take a 87-93 coupe.

Yes keep your eyes open, BTW what would YOU take as far as money for my car? If it were yours.

I have no clue on what i would take for that car. I think i would just put a little 125 shot on it and call it a day. I bet you would gain one full second. Its to nice to sell. You also need to post more pics.
Put it on racingjunk.com and also mention you will trade for a fox body. A lot of poeple go there. How far are you willing to travel for the right coupe if you sell your ?

9's on a 125 shot....that may be a stretch.

The car weighs so much it will not hook on the street, a Mustang would do better.

In a Fox body, mid nines on a 150 shot in a street car. Yeh I can dig that!

These are what I have on the brain

http://www.racingjunk.com/post/10561...NG-ROLLER.html

http://www.racingjunk.com/post/10353...up-roller.html

http://www.racingjunk.com/post/10260...ng-Roller.html

The one I really wanted is no longer on there. Black coupe, pro stars abd a hood that came back to the windshield.

My impala only went 11;90- 12;00 on motor so i gained about 1.2 second with a 150 shot. Thats useing the nx maf system and now i have the second stage for it. Yes it did hook up on the street i won about $1,200 2 summers ago I was racing **** i had no bisness racing and beat them.
I miss it as you can see
Heres a link to a guy wanting to trade me my notch for his notch. Its a mi. web site and i asked what people are paying to have a cages installed.
it has to much cage for me but its nice. Then check out the rest of the site. http://www.motownmuscle.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=62922

How much does he want for that? I would have to cut that funnycar cage out.

Thats the car I want, or one like it.

MD as always it's a money vs speed deal, I want to go mid-low 9's.

To make this F Body as light as a Fox coupe is virtually impossible.

I can make the Fox coupe 2900lbs ready to race, 3250 with driver. Thats a weight savings of 550 lbs. And still be street legal.

That equals mid tens on motor and low 9's on a 200 shot.

Thats hard to turn down.

I havent comitted as of yet, I still have to prove to some people that I can build a 10 second full weight pumpgas streetcar on my own. Technically it hasnt done it ....YET. But the 11.02@124 is close.

It would for sure have to be the right car, most likely a 85-86 coupe which is my favorite fox car.

That orange one that BIGCOWL showed me is EXACTLY what I want, minus the funnycar cage, my belly would not jive with it LOL.

I am still on the fence, but am leaning hard towards what BIGCOWL has done, and have had those thoughts for a while now.

Is it just me or does the pic of the Impy pulling wheels look photoshopped?

the rears arent mashed...the front wheels arent hanging and it just looks like it was cut/pasted.

I was kinda wondering the same thing... With the unequal length control arm front suspension, the front tires usually sag down and out on a wheels up launch.

But not always..
