No the LS1 stock valve has more of a bead loc (Manley Lock) style round grove. The only place I know of who has the correct locks for a LS1 is Stef's. The valve stem diameter is also different at 8mm which is close to 5/16 (off like .002) but it's different compared to a 11/32 which is stock for a SBC or LT1. The angle of the lock is not motor dependant but it's common for a LS! to be 7 deg only.

Thanks, I just needed to know a little about the retainer and lock, by telling me about the lock I'll know all I need to know about the retainer.
I got a set of Ti 5/16'' valves for the Z28 build and yes there nothing like the 11/32'' ( have super7 locks and retainers for them).
I was looking to get LS1, 3800 Ti retainers (part of a kit for the straight sided 1.25'' spring conversion) for the V6 and wanted to make sure the crane +.050'' steel 7 locks I have will work.
The Al retainers I have now for the V6 are junk and decided I don't want to use them.
