Lets take a look at intakes here.(LT1vHogan)

Not sure if it's been talked about, but was wondering. Just wondering how much and stock LT1/LT4 intake is really hurting us guy's. I know it will very on the combo, but how much are you going to really pick up switching over to a hogan. Lets take my combo for instance.

396--12.5.1
Solid Roller cam
AFR 210's flowing 310@650
Forged/billet bottom-end with a ported LT4 intake===500rwhp

Now swap a hogan intake on there???

I guess I'm asking because I might switch over to one and am wondering if that extra money is worth it??

Thanks Ken. Alot of good info there. I just wish there were some proven numbers here, like torque and hp incress/decress, between the two. I'm sure someone on here has swapped a Hogan on and dyno'ed it, but maybe not. I hate to be the test mule here, as I'm really thinking of getting one. I've already spent a pretty penny on this car, what's another 2,500 right.

Hey guys here's a thought, what about using the new Holley Ram intake for standard sbc's and redrilling the bolt holes in the heads or the intake.
It's already got injector bungs and a top which accepts our style of throttle bodies?
And holley sells the intake separately.

The stealth ram from holley is 10in tall I dont think you could fit it under a 4th gen hood.

So put a cowl hood on the car, I've got no problem with that.
