I'm an idiot, serious cam help needed!
Ok, this is a tough one (for me anyway).
I have a 377 sbc (3.75" stroke, 4" bore), Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads, JE flat top pistons, Eagle 5.7" rods, Eagle 3.75" stroke 4340 forged crank.
It currently has a Comp Cams Magnum cam in it right now (grind number 286HR, 230/230 duration at .050", .560/.560 lift, 110 seperation) and I'm going to be replacing it with an Extreme Energy cam (grind number XR300HR, 248/254 duration at .050", .562/.580 lift, 110 seperation). Both cams are hydralic roller. I think I already know, but what would be the proper procedure for roplacing the magnum cam with the Extreme Energy cam?
Also, I have Comp Cam's Pro Magnum roller rockers, what's the proper procedure for setting these? I'm pretty sure I already know, but I like to double check everyhting before I screw up a several thousand dollar engine....
