How does air velocity relate to torque?

Hmm... Well Going off of my previous thread and my application we'll see if a 12:1 Solid Roller 396 works with a significantly larger Throttle Body. Note this is basically a strip only car, and all disclaimers apply.

Twin 48mm (stock) Twin Blade TB = 67mm effective diameter

Twin 52mm Twin Blade TB = 73mm effective diameter

Twin 58mm Twn Blade TB = 82mm effective diameter

My new TB = 116mm effective Diamater.

I can vouch for a 1,300 cfm monoblade working just spiffy on a 12.5:1 solid roller 396 @ 7,500+ rpm...
