Look through the different forums to find those that are about what you are trying to do. Learning to use the SEARCH function is fun and instructive. There is a ton of good information (and maybe many tons of not-so-good information ) in these technical forums. Spend some time browsing them.

They made Camaros for 36 years..... might want to mention which one you have . They all tend to be a bit different with regard to what it would take to turn them into a race car.
