Red face HELP! Need valve guide size for LT1

Allright if I can get a day or so on the board I'll delete this post, but this is the only place I'm likely to get an answer on this.

I dropped off a set of heads at a shop today, and the builder called me saying he can't find the guides I need. It's an aluminum headed LT1, and the problem is that the OD is bigger than a regular SBC. I know a place that has the right guides, I just need to know what to order.

THANKS!

The guide diameter according to the specs from the place I got mine from are .5575 " The guides you need are available from a place called in SI Valves in
Bronze Mangenese. Part # is VG 9436/ and If memory serves me correctly they are like $2.50 a piece (you will need 16) These guides are a little long but I just trim them up when cutting the valve seal O.D.

SBI/ J-Loy part # 140-8180 is a stock replacement if you don't want to mess with bronze.

But why? I would leave it here so that anyone else looking for the same info in the future could find it via a search.

My impression is that my topic is a bit too simple for this forum. I'll leave it up, and let the mods decide whether to delete it or not Ehhh.. I did search all the forums without finding this info.
