help fast crank snout

help fast crank snout

I'm having Crower make me a crankshaft, and told them i wanted a big block snout on it is this a mistake? its for a s trim,383,bla,bla,bla next year ysi trim.I plan on running s trim for sure so what would i need to make this work till i swap blowers.

With a nice Crower crank, you don't need a BBC snout.

It won't hurt anything but in the future if you run 20+ PSI with a larger blower, it is a good idea in my opinion. You can run the smallblock snout with a front support and do the same thing.
