has anyone ever had a head gasket replaced if so what were the symptoms of a bad head gasket.

Most common is a loss of coolant, coolant leak down the side of the engine. Other problems can be coolant in the oil, oil in the coolant. If blown out between cylinders it can cause a miss fire and/or loss of power, backfire, etc. etc.

 

i brouhgt the car to the mechanic this morning in a few days i should no what the problem is.

Hard to move it when there's no indication what year the vehicle is, or if its even an F-Body.
