Question Guys with FAST?

Hey Guys, I'm going to go with the FAST setup my question to you is, How do I still run my 460le trans Can I go to vacuum module to get rid of the stock computer (that controls the trans)Jumper to use between the fast pcm and the stock one.Or do I have to go to a 400TH and do away with the stock computer all together. Keep in mind the car will be gutted no power steering,AC,heat, power brakes etc.

Thanks any help would be great,

Kevin

Contact Mac at Fast Track in California www.fasttrackperformance.com

he cans et you up with a FAST system and one of his Splice in harnesses that will keep your factory PCM, which controls your 4L60E Transmission. The harness will make the system install MUCH easier anyways, even for M6 users.

Might I ask why you're sticking with the 4L60E trans when if you need this system and have lost so mch of the "functionality" of the car, that you'll possibly be hurting parts... Sounds as though a TH400, possibly with a Gear Vendors Splitter) or even possibly a 200R4 (if OD gear is a must) may be in order.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply! I kinda thought that was my option with 46l0E. I know about the 400th option i'm pretty sure thats the way I'm going. Anybody want to buy a built 46LOE and a 3200 Stall P.I vig.

Interested in your decision regarding the possible switch to a 400 or keeping the 4L60E. The reason being, if you're using an aftermarket ECM together with oem PCM to control trans functions only, you may experience functionality problems with the trans. The fix is using an aftermarket trans CM together with the ECM. Obviously, if you chose to go with the 400 it would be a mute point/issue.

If you wanted to keep you electronically controlled tranny and lockup converter, you could go with the FAST/TCI C-COM - it's about $775.

Hi Monty! I agree, just wanted to know if that is what 383BB discovered, or if he somehow got oem pcm (for trany) to work with aftermarket ecm.

I left Mac about 4 messages on his answering machine and atleast 3 e-mails and he never replied. I'm kinda wondering if he's still in business. Btw: Job at Turbopeople gave me a good deal on a gen7 dfi kit
