Fuel System

Pondering the thought of going carburated very soon since tuning harder to achieve on 93's.

I am just looking into what my options are. I was also wondering if you use a TBI fuel pump in a 4th gen tank can it be regulated enough to reach proper pressure.

What are most going with. Setup will likely achieve 450 being conservative at the wheels so nothing major. How hard is it to sump a 4th gen tank? I know there are aftermarket drop in tanks that are already sumped and pretty fabbed up aluminum but I am just not wanting to drop the coin for something so elaborate.

You don't need anything near that elaborate to support 450hp, especially if it is carbed. I have a strong preference for FI over a carb, unless it's a race car. Why go backward? Get an aftermakrket ECU or just go over to a later model PCM if you want ease of tuning.

Been through the thought process so many times over and just think I will try this route and see how it goes. Doing another engine setup to me is no big deal since I can go back just as easy. I want something a bit unique and something I can tune without a labtop. I was going to go with a fast system or the Gen VII but just could not part with the cash for just programming. I pretty much have everything needed to do the swap and know what I am getting myself into.

Fuel System is my crooked road the I need to straighten before i dive in.
