Yup...the FAST uses a wideband which you can leave in closed-loop operation for corrections of up to 25% +/- of whatever your programmed A/F is...makes tuning stuff a breeze....so in a matter of speaking, if it sees overly lean conditions it will adjust the IPWs accordingly to compensate.
You can also run the system fully in open loop all the time, but you better be darn sure your VE's and stuff are dead on.

I get good fuel pressure (rising) up to about 5800rpms, by then I have gone from about 44psi to 54psi and thats when it *sometimes* drops...as much as 7psi.

And unfortunately, I do not have the best 255lph as Jimmy pointed out, I have the lesser 307 pump. I need to drop the tank anyway this winter but I would like to come up with a solution that could work without needing a major revamping of the fuel system.

i'd either use a Bosch 255 or walbro 340 pump

either will work extremely well....

I think for right now I will just give the Kenne Bell boost-a-pump a try. It's a quick and easy solution that hopefully can hold me over until winter time projects begin.

Thanks for the info Rich on where to pick one up, I will give them a call today

Rich,

I talked with Robert there and mentioned that you had directed me towards them. He promptly replied by saying whatever it was that I wanted to buy was now going to cost even more... LOL

Cool guy to deal with, they had one in stock and it's headed my way. Hopefully this cures the problem for the short term...or maybe for good
