Question formula for fuel pressure ?

>I thought there was a formula for calculating how much fuel pressure will be needed ... I did a search but came up with squat -zero-zilch-nada-zippo ... guess you get the point .

so if you know of a site that calculates or know the formula I would appreciate it .

I think this is the one you are talking about...

F2= ( sq. root P2/P1 ) X F1

F2 is calculated injector flow rate at higher pressure
P2 is fuel system pressure you want to use
P1 is the fuel system pressure the injector is rated for
F1 is the static flow at rated fuel pressure....

Did you digure out what size fuel injectors you need yet? you have to do that first. Use this formula for that

This formula uses static compression and wont work right for vehicles with forced Induction.

HP X BSFC X /(# of injectors) X(.80)

HP is estimated flywheel hp. Use desktop dyno to get that #
BSFC is Brake Spicific Fuel Consumption... This changes based on compression but the LT-1 should be between .45 and .5... Mabye somone else can tell us exactly...
This formula fugures to run the injectors at 80% duty cycle at WOT

plug your answer from this formula in as F1 in the next formula...
