The 3.X EA Pro is about 10% high, and the program should have the AFR Heads in the database since they are the same as the SBC AFR's

Another thing.. its impossible fora 6.2L engine to make 760rwhp on 93 pump octane gas.. I put 80 octane gas and it calculates the same thing... The program IS WRONG.

Check the "knock index" for both octane calculations.

Under 1.0 probably no detonation.

1.0-2.0 detonation may or may not occur depending on factors difficult to model.

2.0+ Detonation is very likely. The higher the KI value above 2, the more likely severe engine damage will result. i.e.holes in pistons, etc.

Are you sure EA PRO is giving Rear Wheel hp?

Man, 3.2 is still in the beta version and you would need the 3.3v update because they don't have the bugs worked out of it yet too. The driveline loss calculator is not even in the next version.

These programs are for finding trends, the older version was very accurate and this one is getting tweaked since it's not in the finial version.

Try a 14:1 20psi motor on 80 Octane, the program will run it, but it will probably blow up in real life. The program allows you to do things that are not capable in real life, that's where they help you find new ways to move to make power. If you don't understand the program compeltely then it's very dangerous.

The manual is a good place to start with this program. It's not as generic as DD2000, but it's alot more accurate. At the same time more dangerous too.

Precisely my point.. I would expect a horsepower figure of 5rwhp on the areas where the engine EXPLODED.. I mean. 700HP on 80 pump gas.>DAMN!! but yes. I should watch the knock index as that is what is going to tell me if it pings or not.. and it says it on the description box.. detonation very likely.. Anyways.. Yes.. the purpose of the program is to find the trends on different cams, affect or not.. How does the HP change with a change in LSA or some things like that... or more complex as rod changes etc..

Do you have the data for port length diameter etc on the AFR 190s? 220s? etc?

I cant find them on the AFR website nor any manual downloaded..

Anyways.. its a nice program..I downloaded version 3.3 to check it out.. I just wanted to see some things and what things should I check on my engine.. boost wise and what would be my best boost/timing combo to get the best HP/ping ratio if you know what I mean... I rather run 8psi boost and 30 advance and get 600rwhp than running 12psi boost 24 advance and 620rwhp... And maybe with the program I can more or less find out that sweet spot without investing SO Much time on a dyno in tunning for different pulleys, temp climates and other stuff...
