Aftermarket blocks have higher nickel content, makes them stiffer and stronger.

I'd say 'hi performance' (instead of aftermarket) blocks do as chevy bow tie blocks as well have higher nickel content as well.

True - I used aftermarket to generalize anything not stock. I always use the bowtie blocks, have not tried a world or dart yet. So I intended to include them.
