Do I need to Mill The Manifold?

I recently got my heads ported, and they took .015" off them to resurface them. I also went with a thinner head gasket, which is not .026" thick, and stock gasket was .051" thick. That means we shaved off .040" off both the head and gasket, do I also need to mill the intake .040" or do you think I will be able to get away with it? Thanks!

My suggestion would be to have the intake side of the head milled, that way you can use any stock intake with out a problem. But as with other things there is more ways to skin a cat.

Good Luck
