Desktop Dyno Cam Help Please!!

i am trying to help a friend of mine develop a 2002 3.8 powered camaro. we are attempting to enter the values of the stock cam to get a starting point for the selection of parts.
my problem is that the stock cam values for IVO and EVC are liste as negative numbers( -20 and -34 BTDC respectively).
does anyone know how i can enter these values in DD2000 ?
i already tried to put in 340 and 326 but the program does not accept them.

later
tim

You need a file called camquest or a CD called camdisk. It has just about every aftermarket cam profile available. That way you don't need to enter any data. It contains a few stock cam profiles if you know the part number of the cam

Are trying to enter the data with seat to seat timing or .050 lift timing?

Try using the built in cam math calculator.

Yes I agree with the above on not entering the right values for "seat-to-seat' or "0.050".

I did that recntly and it drove me knuts. No mater what cam I entered for my new 427 it would only make 400hp

the specs i have are for seat to seat.
when i tried the built in cam thing it would say i need to enter a "valid" IVO.

thanks

The cam math calculator only needs to know LSA, intake centerline, intake and exhaust duration. Do you know these numbers?

The valve timing points are then calculated from that info.
