degreeing a cam on my 383lt1
I installed a 383 in my camaro. I had some problems with the timing chain and had to remove the chain and gears a few times.
My car has never run up to par and I think the cam moved at some point.
How do i degre a cam to make it pefect? Or make it the best i can?
do i just set it at 0?
and the big question is how much off will miss up my performance?

well the way I did mine was with a dial indicator and set it for whatever my Lift at TDC was on my cam card. I got mine from www.camshaftinnovations.com
go the the tech section and its in there...I dont know if thats just for his cams though.
