Dart Iron Eagle pan gasket question

I'm getting around to buttoning up my motor and I'm wondering about the pan gasket.. The block has spread pan rails, but I don't see a specific gasket listed in the catalogs.. I do see gasket for the rocket block which I believe has spread pan rails, but I don't know for sure if it's the right gasket. The part number for the rocket block is : FelPro 1839 .. Will that work with my Iron Eagle?

thanks
...Brady (aftermarket block newb)

Dart lists two Moroso oil pans (20193 - w/ trapdoor, crankscraper and windage tray & 20192 - oil pan only) which are made for the Iron Eagle block, and Moroso says these pans will fit both the Dart IE and the Rocket blocks. So I would assume any gasket made for the Rocket pan rails should fit the Dart block as well.

Yes, the 1839 will work on both blocks.

and... check to make sure your machine shop drilled return holes in the lifter valley.

Sounds like you're about to have some fun.

Thanks!

There are return holes in the valley with screens epoxy'd over them to keep the big chunks from falling through..

It should be fun, probably scary though..

Nah! Go on and stick your right foot through the floorboard!

Looks like one hell of a fun car. You've definitely been bitten by the HP bug.

Good luck!
