Copper head gaskets and oringed block decks????

Is there a method of using copper gaskets and an oringed block without running into coolant leaks? Pretty straight forward question, opinions seem to vary. Expert engine builders please respond, you know who you are (MG, Bauers, etc.)

Copper gaskets tend to leak. All the usual stuff that inhibits leaks will help, but they still tend to seep at best. As far as I am concerned they are a race only proposition, and in that case a little seepage is ok.

Don't know if I'm expert enough for you, but that's my $0.02 anyway.
