The heart of the question is..... what kind of engine are you working on? Small block Chevy? (yes or no). Which "generation"? (Gen 1 = 1955-1992, Gen 2 = LT1 92-97, Gen 3 = LS1 97-present)? Makes a difference.... they are three different designs using three different cooling systems.
Basically to get a meaningful answer, provide the details of what engine you are talking about, which specific block design, and what kind of a car.... year, model, etc.... you are putting it in. Only with that info could anyone give you a meaningful answer to what water pump to use.
