Converting heads

I am in the process of building a max effort LT1. I want to put some gen-1 type heads on it. Who converts SBC heads to LT1 blocks? Thanks

Re: Converting heads

Part of the issue with this is making the water passage and the oil drainback so they are completely sealed off from one another. Best way would be to get the coolant right and sealed off completely then press a piece of bar stock thru the head, weld that in and then drill it out for the oil drain back. That and the deck surface has to be changed to match the block.

It's not like it's going to be fun and only worth it when you goals can't be met by something like a AFR 215RR.
