647hp na?

that is increadible. So you actually got a distributor to fit in an fbody? More and more ideas keep popping into my head for a killer 350. If i were to run Fast, i could run any small block chevy block?

Just to build a sweet 350 with distributor, fast, killer heads, custom intake, etc would be increadible. What did you do for exhaust manifolds too?

thanks for all the info

Goose, yellow? I saw one in fort collins that was a yellowish orange with a fuel pressure gauge on the hood once and it sounded pretty mean. Prolly not it though.

Make me a offer on them if you want them

Thanks

I know I shouldn't be but I am - very interested. You've got mail.

647 on the base maps, so far. Final tuning hasn't happened yet, because we're waiting on a converted front cover with a cam sensor to finish the FAST eDist setup. That's also with a big dip through the point at which peak power should have been (~6,900 rpm). The engine recovered after the dip to ~637 hp out at 7,400 rpm before falling off.

The only other things you need (besides the eDist and a cam position sensor) are a crank trigger and 8 LS1 coil packs, pretty much. The engine isn't being built for an F-body, which is why I had space restrictions.

SLP 1 7/8" primary headers with an off-road Y-pipe.

That sounds like a sweet setup. You are making that kind of power with 1 and 7/8" headers too. That really gets me thinking. I am going to look into fast with edist and possible go that route when i build my 383 or 396. So many ideas now. Thanks again for the info!

1 7/8" long tubes on the dyno, actually, but I don't have the clearance for long tubes in the car. I expect that output will drop somewhat with the "shorties", but that's more than acceptable. The car will only weigh around 2,750 lbs. or so.
