Would it be possible for some of you great tranny guys to maybe help put a step by step diy guide together on how to rebuild the A4 complete with pics so that it would hold up under at least a 600 flywheel hp motor.
I just recently finished with mine and it was a nightmare. Here at No problem raceway they die like flies and we cant seem to find anyone willing to build them for us so time to do them ourselves.

I used raybestos blue clutches 7 pack on 3-4 pack
beast sun shell
alto band
super servo package
torque master package to eliminate all the thrust washers
new sunax front pump slide spring
sonnax boost valve and sleeve kit
transgo shift kit

So far so good

Wondering did I leave anything out ? Is there something more I could have done. Is there a way to check the clutch pack operation from the front like we use to be able to do on the 350's and 400's, etc

 

use the redline clutches....they are just as good and are cheaper. Most tranny places around here feel the raybestos are overpriced
