Anybody know if Glyptol can be thinned out so it can be sprayed on with HVLP equipment? I can imagine trying to paint that stuff on with a brush in such a tolerance sensitive area as the crankcase would be a nightmare.

Glyptol to be done right has to be baked in an oven.
Haven't used it in many years. Polishing and radiusing the holes works to good to do anything else.

Put on a coating wrong and ya gonna have an oil pan full of that coating to be circulated back through the engine or stop up the pickup.
