Cool pics.

Is it a fact, or a paranoia that laying heads flat for extended periods of
time will cause them to warp?

I set mine vertically when doing engine work.

BTW "MaxRace"...is that you in the video and pics? I think every
car guy on earth wants a set of toys like that in his bedroom...
or is it just me?

--------------------------------------------------------------

the heads in the store rooms where heads "waiting" to have bronze guides/seat inserts installed ....then after decks are milled

so stacking them like that must not be too bad on them ??
until there are finalized with seats/guides/milling ...then if you look at one of the next pictures , after the head is in that stage, they are no longer "stacked" on top of each other

sorry about the poor quality of the pictures !
they were from cheap old camera , not digital .

Yes , i wish i could have gotten a set free too !!

those pics show just a very, very tiny amount of heads they actually had on site !

Well, perhaps not paranoia, but maybe being obsessive, unless you think the heads are out to get you.

No, they won't warp under their own weight, but vertical storing may help keep the faces from geting marked up.

Personally I like to hang them on 16 matched door springs attached to the rocker studs. I think it was UB who told me about that, but my memory is getting short...among other things.

Is it me, or does this look like a pallet from Fort Knox? http://www.maxracesoftware.com/Brodi...ng_heads_9.jpg

All I need is ~280cfm... surely they can spare a "low flow" toss away from the assembly line.
