Carburator Detailing - Anodizing/Cleaning
OK I have no idea what forum this should go into so I'll try this one.....
I'm getting a pair of 660 center squirter carbs that look old, maybe a lil corroded, discolored etc - since they are going on a tunnel ram I'd like to have them looking nice - at least clean - how would I go about getting a carb to look "like new"? Do I need to find someone who specializes in acidic cleaning or can I just disassemble it and sand blast or bead blast it?
I'd like to get the finished result anodized too, so I'm not sure what has to be done to get it into a condition that will look good anodized.
