Question Breaking in my nice shiny new...

i just finished up my built 427 L88 (as if they didnt have enough power already) and i was wondering what you guys recommend for break in procedure for a new engine... everything it brand new and i want to know what you guys do? BTW i already broke the cam in a between 2000 and 2500 for 20-25 minutes. now im going to change my oil and filter, reset valve lash, adjust timing and im ready to take it out and seat the rings, bearings and ect. so lets hear them...

i had seriously been thinking that, the way i used to break in my motorcycles and wheelers and they all ran great, i would first run them through 3 heat cycles, then i would ride casually for about 30 min, then let cool completely, then take it out and ride it hard, doing compression braking from wot in one gear lower than top (IE 5th in a 6 speed) about 5 or 6 times and then ride it like i stole it... so i was thinking something like that for my big bad BBC... maybe less heat cycles and more casual driving becuase by ther time i get it to the gas station for race gas im already at 30 min, i was thinking like an hour or so of casual driving then on the way home do some compression braking stops and then run it hard! either way im going to run it hard sooner or later... something about having 600 horse under your right foot makes it hard to have self control...

so does anyone ahve any recommendations, i figured i would utilize compression braking because if pulls vacuum and helps in oiling the ring and pulls oil past them,
also i know you need to load the engine a little to put combustion pressure on the rings, and pushes them into the cylinder walls, and helps seat them... any suggestions in terms of time and how much load and all that other stuff?
