Yeah that was the rule of thumb.....

"more stoke makes more tq and more bore makes more hp"

Cubes are Cubes... there are always pluses and minuses

Oh yeah and do i have to go get a HOTROD to read that article--couldnt click on that one on the site??I canceled my sub. when they started project integra.

On the whole bore stroke thing, i think application dictates, right now im running a 355 when everyone else has 383+,the last thing i need is a fatter torque curve NA.And my little blue friend more than helps for whatever power i gave up with 28 cubes. When the drag camaro goes together[que somewhere over the rainbow music] the BBC will be as ridiculously undersquare as the max cube limit allows, as its for 10 wide or radial racing.

but i mean wasn't that based on getting higher RPMs which increase volumetric efficiency up top?
In yalls experiment was it everything matching except for stroke/bore? maybe i just out to buy the mag

Re: Bore vs. Stroke AGAIN

Finally read it all. Seems to make pretty good sense...go with as many cubes as possible!

I did learn from it though. I always thought the same way everyone else has.
