Blower Camshaft Selection....Need Help!!

I am changing heads on my blown (D1SC) 396 LT4 (AFR 227), and i want to use a "blower grind" cam this time but i am not sure what to use!!!

info on my set up.......
396 LT4
ATI D1SC @ 12 PSI
AFR 195 (switching to 227's)
10.5 to 1 compression ratio
T56 w/street twin
9" rear 3.72
58 mm NOS TBI
Solid Roller cam
FLP headers
F.A.S.T.
85 LBS. injectors...........

The car made 670 RWHP with the cam and heads i have. I am wondering what to expect with a "blower grind" cam and a set of 227 AFR heads?????

Dude get a stock LT1 cam, the bigger exhaust side will help get teh charge out of the cylinders

198/206 .467/.463

james Id get those heads first and have them flowed then youd knowif the intake or the exhaust side needed help or was much better than the other and you could factor that into you cam selection

Right now, I have a 383 w/9:1 CR and a 224-236 114 lsa. However, I'm building a LT4 396 and have been struggling with a cam grind also....what are the specs to the cam you're currently running?

Hey Brand-X how much boost, and how much power did you make with that cam? I'm building a 383 with 9:1 compression, AFR 190s, and a 60-1 Hifi turbo, and I'm trying to pick a cam. Any suggestion or tips on picking a cam would be appreciated.

On the dyno, I made 465 rwhp and 503 torque @ 5 1/2 psi running very rich. I regularly run the engine at 9-10 psi but haven't had it on the dyno at that boost level....I est. 520-540 rwhp at the higher boost levels. As for helping you pick a cam, I could throw some ideas out there but I know just enough about cam therory to screw myself up....wouldn't want to give you bad advise. However, there are people on here with a lot more expereinced in that area and they seem to give some pretty good advise...sorry.
