annular or down leg boosters

annular or down leg boosters

I have a choice with my new barry Gtrant Mighty Demon carb what should i get

If using it on the street , I would go with annular boosters. Should get you better throttle response.

i agree, it has been my experience that a street motor will have more response down low with annulars, they are able to pick up signal better.Especially if youve got a manly cam thats soggy down low, and a big S/P intake.You might give up some airflow at very high revs to down leg boosters, but not significantly.If its a drag car, then down leg, but all the street/strip dps and doms ive done got annular.

Annular is the way to go for a heavier street car. There are lots of variations on the "annular" booster but I'd opt for an annular in the Mighty Demon you're looking at.

That's always my pick on a single plane with a cam with some decent overlap. If you are not spinning it to the moon they work awesome.

Annular for the street or racing where throttle response is paramount (road racing, short track).
