always wondered about this crank

would it be possible to do a 3.562" crank in a LT1? Unfortunately, its a 2 piece rear main seal crank, but ive always wondered if its possible to make like a 360 out of an LT1

Well if a 3.75" (I think I've even heard of a 4.00") crank will work I don't see why not. The question would then be why? Unless you are getting it for next to nothing and you can get the right pistons, otherwise why not build a 383?

Just curious

If you have the crank already, sure - go ahead and do it. JE has shelf pistons for that stroke with a 6.0" rod. And the 2-piece rear main seal adapters work leak free if you install them correctly.
