AFR 227 Valvetrain Parts
Yes.
Do you have lifters yet? I have a set of Crower Severe-duty ultra light solid roller lifters with just a few dyno pulls on them. They have 0.180" offset on the intake for use with the AFR 215cc RR, 220cc, and 227cc heads. I'll make you a smokin' deal on them.

hehhe, thanks for the offer man, but i am staying with my tinny CC305 cam
This is very interesting... although i have a 236 248 cam installed i am using 3/8 rockers with my 210s. They are not perfectly on the center on some valves, not all of them, but i am using single spring. I guess it would be nice to see how it all pans out. Subscribing to this thread to see if this is 100% necessary with the 210s.
Just so you know, I trashed a set of guides on my AFR 220's trying to use shaft mount rockers and a stud girdle with a solid roller. I'd HIGHLY recommend you don't make the same mistake. After it was all said and done I went to T&D shaft mounts and all is good.
What are the cheapest Shaftmounts that will work with the heads?
If you are going to go blower cam talk to Bret, and get a custom it's the same cost as off the shelf plus it will be matched to the AFR 227 heads, with the bonus of driving like stock.....I have one of his cams in my car and with 686rwhp pump gas it's all you need for your goals.....plus that set up should push 750rw when you are finished tuning

Bud...at this level of power CHEAP should not be even typed in the long run what are you saving $350-$400 total from the cheap to the best shaft mounts, is that kinda of money really worth it.....I would say NO....if you drive your car every day why not put the best parts in so it will last time after time,
