383 is hard to turn

hey guys,

i have one of those APE short block 383's, with LE2 heads and a 847 cam..

new motor, maybe 100 miles.... i've had to replace 3 trannys in the car due to a bad VB, but when the builder tries to turn the engine over with his flexplate wrench its really hard.

even with the belt off, its hard....

he tells me its a mine hone issue with the engine, but i dont think so at all... engine was easy to turn over before it was put in car...

could my high compression be that good to hold everything up a lil....

Remove the plugs and see if it's still hard!

Exactly. Remove the compression factor by removing the sparkplugs.

This isn't really Advanced Tech, btw.
