anyone ever do away with these? the little window edge that goes along the top face of the drivers/passenger windows? i can't really think of what else it would be for and just wondering if anyone ever removed them after a repaint. thinking if it's possible it might smooth out the car a bit.

any ideas?

 

ive never taken them off, but my formula didnt come with them. find one of them and see if you like it. not all 3rd gens had them.
