Will a MSD 6A fit

I found a new MSD 6A igntion box for $75. is this a good price and will it fit in my 88 tpi bird

is ther a dif between 6a and 6al??? this will help prevent my motor from blowing up wen its on spray....and will i get noticable power just cruzing??

o yea...how could i test it to make sure its good, is there anything noticeable i should see if its f&*ed up???

Slightly off subject... will there be a noticeable performance upgrade on a carburated car using the MSD box? I have an MSD hei distributor right now... many people are saying getting the MSD box would be redundant. Thoughts?

they make MSD boxes that are specifiaully made for spray and forced induction applications because they are capable of retarding the timing way more than the tradition boxes...it might help a bit when you put the car on spray, but if you wanna do it right i'd get the one made for spray...The 6BTM is the one made for spray...i don't know which 6 series your going to buy but, thats the right one...

I ran the 6A and a Blaster 3 coil on my 86 Trans Am and it ran pretty decent.
I can't say if you will be able to "feel" a difference though.
