Will I have to re-jet if i...

put a flowmaster catback exhaust system on my 84 z28(305 5.0L H.0. 4bbl L69). I was also gonna get a K&N filter. will this require any kind of messing around with the carb? my car is completely stock right now and it runs clean and starts easy. i dont want to lose that.

also, i was thinking on going with the 80 series. I'm not looking for major hp gains or quicker quarter mile times. i just want a nice sounding, clean running reliable car. just a little extra power is all i'm after.

anyone know if the 80 series is obnoxiously loud? i want to be able to talk and listen to the radio still!

thanks.

Minor changes like that won't require any messing with the carb. Actually, I've gone a lot further than that without touching the carb (modest cam, intake, headers, better heads, etc.)
