I have heard that they are the same, but want to clarify if any adjustments or rigging would be needed.
And if I replace my drivers side door with an 82 model, will the door panels fit the same as they did on my factory door.

Yes its a right FIT. No MODS no nuthin.
most body pieces will fit any camaro from 82-92 there was not many changes.

 

It will swap right over but the window regulator is different along with the window channels.

 

I'm sorry, I'm an idiot. What will that affect? What exactly is the window chanel?
