Why does everyone think that every

third generation is an IROC? Could have sworn there were a couple of years in there (one that I own) that was a Z....

I always here "Nice IROC", or a dude with a V6 RS tells me about his "IROC", etc. One dude told asked me once why I took the IROC stickers off the side of my car...

Yep. Same here! Some guy up the road saw me at school last week, "Hey man you still driving that IROC?" Another dude at work couple weeks back, "Still got the IROC?" It makes me so mad! I don't know why they all think it though...

Dont feel bad. I have never seen an IROC with pop-up headlights and GTA badging, but I still get the 'IROC treatment".

Yea my website is in my prof.
But nevertheless its freaking annoying. Im not saying a Z28 is in a totally separate category as IROC, since they are pretty much the same...

Don't feel bad at least they got the right make, well at least they knew it was a GM. Could be worse they could ask you how your 300z runs.....?
but calling a Camaro an IROC is like calling an adjustable end locking wrench a pair of vise-grips. It is something that they can identify. Just Smile and tell them that your IROC ROCKS,but the car you own Rolls.

I used to get that all the time with my 91 and my 92, but now I have an iroc, so I guess I dont run into that anymore.
