I just bought my Fiberglass Fenders, they look real good, only problem is that the side marker lights aren't cut out, and the holes for the ground effects aren't cut out.. I was wondering if you have made the modification to the side marker lights? It looks from a quick glimpse that the OEM fender has little tabs for the side marker housing to clamp into, but my glass fenders don't have them.. What did you use to mount these side marker lights???

where did u get the fiberglass fenders at? i have been looking to fiberglass most fo my car ... but havent found any places that sells the different parts.

 

well maybe you can ct out the hole for the marker lights, then tape them in place from the outside to where you want them, then lay strips of fiberglass mat across the inside to sit against so the strip covers the mounting screws of the light. then when dry drill the hole and mount it as normal. you can get the fiberglass kit from any auto parts store and since its on the inside it doesnt have to be perfect.

curious, how much do they weight and cost? from who? I thought about doing that but the orig. ones are really light to start with. Im guessing 5lbs ea.? let us know how you finally fix this situation and how the fit is when installed. also a weight comparo would be good. maybe some pics of the mods you need to do to them to get them to work.

The glass fenders can't actually weigh less than the stock ones. There is nothing to them. Is there a savings?
