350 Buildup Need Some Help

Alright i need some help building my engine. I want it to be a 355 that going to be able to handle a TNT nitrous wet kit 150-200hp kit. I want the engine to push around 350-400hp without the nitrous. This is going in an 88 Iroc. Heres my thoughts so far.
AFR 190cc or 195cc heads
Holley Stealth Ram Intake
Comp. Xtreme Energy Cam 276/281 224/230 .503/.510 112LS
Comp Cam Pro Magnum 1.6 roller rockers
SLP 1 3/4" Headers
3" Cut-Out
3" Flowmaster Exhaust
52mm Holley Throttle Body
Custom Cold Air Intake
B&M 2400 Holeshot Torque Converter
3.70 gears (9 bolt)
Spohn suspension ( torque arm, LCA, LCA relocation brackets, and panhard bar)
I'd like to here your comments on this setup.
I also would like to here some suggestions on building the bottom end of the engine.
Also if 400hp is possible with this setup

Cool

Always a good idea to go full float rods and pins, that frees up quite a bit of horsepower, works the same way that roller rockers, cam etc do just with a bigger result. Kinda pricy though IMO.

sounds nice, the SR intake won't do as well as the mini ram when it comes to such power adders but with that amount of N20 you should have no problem making power.

i would think low to mid 300 at the wheel without N20 would be a given depending on your actual route.

i know absolutely nothing to really give advice on engines though. i'm sure someone will give good detail for you. good luck with the project and merry christmas.

I would think you could easily get 350 HP to the rear wheels with that. And definitely more. Either 190 or 195 heads would be great, but I dont have the experience to tell you which to use. Are you using a roller block? You can get that same cam from GMPP for less. Its the next step above the LT4 HOT cam. And I would really look into a 2800+ stall converter. 2400 is too small for your power range, unless this is strictly a daily driven street car. You'll want a forged crank, and forged pistons as well. You're looking at a price tag of about $5000, probably more. Good luck!

I'm looking at using the stock L98 block thats in it now.
$5000 would be well in my price range.
What forged pistons would you recommend for this setup?
I heard Ross pistons can really handle the abuse of nitrous and i've also heard good things about JE pistons.
Is it going to really matter if I go with 5.7" or 6" rods?
Thanks

Im in the process of trying to understand it now but the general consensus seems to be to put the longest damn rod you can in it.

Talk to this guy:

http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~davis/z28/

He has an identical setup to yours, with the exception being an LT4 HotCam - which is very similar to yours. He made 342 RWHP with a smaller cam.

Edit: To anyone looking for ECM programming info, this is the place to go!
