I know that SLP used to sell their Y-pipes separate from their headers, if you really don't want to do it, then it might be worth a phone call. (Of course it may not be cheap, being stainless...)

MUFFLEX!!!

The shop is local to me, and I've seen tons of cars with their work - all good stuff.
Check them out.

Re: Who makes a good Y pipe?
Not sure if it's still available but SLP used to sell a y-pipe that bolted up to stock manifolds and had a MUCH better union where the 2 pipes came together. The stock pipe is more like a "T" pipe where the pass. side exhaust joins the cross-under from the driver's side- flow was pathetic. The SLP pipe is slightly larger in diameter and has a true "Y" type union where the 2 pipes come together- much better flow.
If you're looking for headers then the header manufacturer usually offers a good y-pipe that matches with the location of their header flanges. My Hooker shorties came with a decent 3" y-pipe with smooth bends and transitions, for example.
