Post who makes front lower control arms for 3rd gens?

i need balljoints, but dont see a point in spendng even $50 to buy them and press them in cause the bushings are prolly shot and they are rusty as hell. I can get new stock IRoc ones for $130 ea. but would rather get some lighter aftermarket ones if anyone makes them.

any ideas? thanks chris

I just did a complete suspension overhaul front and rear. You can buy 2 ball joints and a set of PST polygraphite bushings for ~ $100.00. You can get the bushings and ball joints pressed in for about $50.00. It is a PITA to remove/install the old bushings and ball joints if you don't have access to a press. The end result is amazing and you will not have spent $130.00 for each control arm.

thanks marty. I'll give them a call. I wonder if the a arms sill work w/stock front kmember? prolly wont work w/coil springs either. I'll still call to see how much they are and to see if they will fit stock stuff.
chris

If I do end up redoing the stock arms, then I'll prolly sandblast them and have them powder coated cause no way am I puting back on rusty arms after all this work.

i would just refinish them......if you can powdercoat yourself go for it. otherwise just paint them nice, powdercoating and a good paint job work just as well. for the price you'll save instead the coil-overs and the tubular setup you'll be much happier.

Not sure about price, I got the k-member, a-arms, coil-overs, and manual rack for a little over a grand. Didnt even look at the reciept, just threw it away.
