Here is what I would do....
1. Get rid of the Z28 badges on your fenders.
2. Try and find a 85 - 92 rs or z28 front peice.
3. Try and get the 91-92 Ground effects.
4. 91/92 Z28 wing
5. Paint it either brite white or go for like a Sunset orange.
6. Fourth Gen Leather Seats.
7. Get rid of the door protector strips.
8. And drop in a nice small Block, 350 - 400
9. Drop in a 6spd tranny from a fourthgen.
10. Hooker shorties, a cutout, and what ever catback you want.
11. And finally, get out there and drive it.

1. **** you.
2. No, too common
3. I wish
4. See #1
5. white isnt bad, but im thinking maybe platinum....
6. I have some 97 30th An. Seats in my garage but one needs a bit of upholstery
7. Maybe.
8. My 305 will do for now
9. Riiiight. Only if a rich uncle dies.
10. done
11. I just did.
Id like to add, Demon Carbs are ****. I took mine back and got me a trust edelbrock

IMHO, 4th Gen badges look ok. I hate the early 87' and older door protector strips. I'd get the newer ones that are sleeker from an 88'-92' car - (something I plan to do to my car). Why not stay w/ the sport coupe body? It's different, and with the right stance and paint job it would look good. The 91'-92' wheels helped out a lot.
So right now - paint, and lower it about 1.5 - 2 inches. Just my $0.02

The guy asks for help then bashes ppl for their help. I liked what he had to say, I hate the little vents in the front facia, they look so terrible, I would just get a newer facia, I chose not to get the 91-92 ground effects, (just more weight) but a new facia would do wonders for your cars looks.($100.00) Lower it ($200.00), get a 4th gen rear ($200.00), take the adjustable panhand bar off the 4th gen when you take the rear ($35.00) And you say your carbed now, leave it there till you have some money then go monster EFI.. Acell DFI or Tec II or F.A.S.T. programming software.. As I look at the pic again, the front facia is the only thing holding it back.. have fun and whatever you do do it right the first time..

I like the wheels. Freshen up the whole suspension, add some sub-frame connectors. update the interior, those seats are probably shot. Paint it what ever looks good with the interior. Down the road, the engine will need some work I am sure. As for the Z28 badges, if it aint a Z ..loose em! Do the stealth thing before you make it a look-a-like.

im not getting rid of the Z badges. My car will run up there with any damn Z28, whether its stock or slightly modified. Theres only 2 differenced in a Z28 or IROC-Z and mine: the front clip, and the ground effects.
Dont give me **** just because i put Z28 emblems on my car JUST because the title doesnt say "Z28" out beside it...Thats just total BS.

Someones a **** off, I would point fingers, but I figure its easy to notice who I'm talking about.
But on with my opinion.
A camaro is a camaro, and a honda is a honda, the only thing is that most camaro/ Firebird owners don't really have to lie about what they drive, I have an 86 Camaro Base model, and I'm keeping it that way, because, simply put, thats what it is.
I think you should not worry about the outside at all, get a good interior to start off, and worry about suspension, and then on performance, and THEN on what it looks like.
You live nowhere near me, and as such, I could care less, as long as I don't see it.
And if your going to say "Well it runs like a z28 so I should beable to stick the markings on it" then I personally think you should go get a Honda V-tek sticker, and stick it on the <<Insert any random place, ricer don't care>> Because just because it runs like this car, or that car, or another car, doesn't mean it is that car.
So what do I think you should do?
1) Sell this car before you f**k it up
2) Buy a z28
3) Call it a Firebird.

Lose the badging. That's like putting a VTEC sticker on a Honda that's not a VTEC. Ricer mentality.
Trust me the badging isn't adding any horsepower and if you get some serious performance in that thing, and people pull up to it and think, oh it's not a Z28, and then you blow their doors off, you'll get a lot more respect and shock them at the same time.

I see guys with chevy trucks that say 350SS on them all the time. i wouldnt say anything to them like you say to me because they usually live up to the supersport title, just as mine does the z28 title.
Get things straight before you knock my car again...
Sure, V-tec is an engine, and ricers usually have the stickers without the engine, so let me put this in terms alittle easier to understand.
Base Camaro = Base 305, base Body style, Base everything
z28 = Upgraded suspension, better engine, better body styling, it goes on and on.
Now what your doing is taking a base camaro and saying "Hay look, I don't have the basic engine, I have the one that came with the Z28, and my suspension rocks."
So in reality, with the Z28 on your car, you are in fact saying you have an engine you don't, maybe its the same size, and looks the same, but if thats enough for you to call it the same, then you need to read up on it.
I'm not capping on the car, or this or that, I know what I know, and what I know is this.
You are putting the Z28 on your car for looks, your saying "my car is this" and as such, your also saying that you have the suspension upgrades, the engine upgrade, and all that.
Now lets look at this from a ricers point of view.
You own a Honda, it runs good and you have power adders all over the place, and because it runs equally as good, or better then the model with V-Tec, you put with decales of the one with a v-tec engine, you still don't have a V-tec, its the same car, same looks, same everything, just the engines alittle differant, and as such, you enter ricer territory, and die horribly trying to drive under a diesel truck.
Both stories are about the same, except you have a good car, and making it lame.
You say its not a big deal, well then drop the label, you don't have that engine, you don't have that suspension, and you don't have those options on that car.
So don't cap on blah blah blah, whatever, I have been around camaros and firebirds since I was born, and against my will for the most part, I have learned alot from my family, so go read a book, study abit, and realize that it isn't, nor will it ever be a Z28.
the only way to turn it into a Z28 would be to lie, just like all the ricers, and thats just lame.
or change that vin, and go through all the problems, but thats overkill.
Just face it, You have a camaro, not a Z28, but a camaro, at least you have a V8, I feel bad for all those 6ers out there.
all in all, face it, make it good, most chicks will leave you after they find out your a ***** anyway, even if it was a Z28.

Damn I sence some hostility Here...anyways KarmaCult has got a point...its not a Z so lose the badging. Wait a minute..Even though you drive A camaro I think we can still call you a "ricer". Please If ur going to f*ck-up the Camaro by making a Z clone PLEASE do get rid of it and buy yourself a f*cking Honada. Oh I forgot one thing Your 305 puts out a outragious 155 HP. Now subtract about 15% for drivetrain loss and you get roughtly 135 RWHP.
