Where should I get exhaust manifold?
Thanks, he implied that it was the metal. He said "Its a bitch, probably around $300". I am trying to see if its worth it. Assuming it is really screwed up and I had money to burn, would a performance exhaust manifold make a difference?
Always upgrade, never replace! Get some headers if you're going to go to $300 worth of trouble. Install them yourself and then have a shop attach the y-pipe to your stock cat. You'll spend maybe $50-100 more than you were planning for the stock parts, get better performance (that the little 2.8 sorely needs) and you can resell the headers to some other 2.8L owner later on when you decide to swap in a V8.
