Where does this ground strap connect to?

While taking off my distirbutor cap, noticed this large ground strap just dangling there. Damn shop who put a new motor in awhile back must have forgotten this..

Where does it hook up to? I didn't notice any obvious spot on the engine that it should bolt to? Any help would be appreciated.

that goes on a bolt that is behind the passenger head. I think it on the same bolt that the engine hook is bolted with. There will be more wires hooked to that same bolt that the grounding strap goes on...atleast on my car there was.

The head has 3 screw holes. bolt it to one of them. That is where it came from. I believe it is one of the 2 ECM grounds.

Maybe that explains the fan wiring getting fried and my car running like crap and not starting after it's hot??

VERY possible. I'd even call it likely.

Hook it up and see.
