wheel and tire combo

What is a good size of wheels and tires for my 88 camaro? I know I want 15" rims, just not sure how wide. How big can I fit on the back?

How about a max rim width for the back and a good size for the front?

Ok, I think stock rims are 8" right? Is that the widest I can go or can I go 10"?

You can run 17x11's front and rear w/ some fender modifications, or squeeze in 17x10's up front and 17x11's in the rear w/ no modifications. The backspacing has to be right on, though. Go for 17x9.5's for an easy fit

i just put in my 15x10 cragar street star's w/ 26x11.5x15 ET streets. the rims have like 4 3/8"*or its 4 1/8, i forget* backspacing, so the tires stick out about an inch, alittle less. but i have some room before the tire hits the wheel wells on the side. i will have to say imo that when i get my 17x11's, that ill be pushing it for room under there. but i ahve seen many 17x11 rims on 3rd gens with no problem. i may try some 15x12's and c how they do.
