wheel squeaking
wheel squeaking
last few days, sometimes when im out driving..when my foot ISNT on the brake..my wheel makes a squeaking noise. sometimes it goes away but its getting more consistant lately? is this my caliper locking up a tad or something? its the front left wheel on my 87 Z28.

If the squeeking stops when you apply the brakes, it's your wear sensors telling you to replace the pads before you damage the rotors.

Yep. Just learned about this in autoshop the other day. Get it fixed before you mess up your rotors.
Cal and Buzz are right: wear sensors. GM made them just for people like who you don't maintain their car!!
JK James. When you replace your pads, look at the old ones, you'll see what we mean.
