Post Wheel locks

Can some one tell me if wheel locks were an option in '88 or do I need to look at aftermarket companies to find the key. The car didn't come with them and I can't get the wheels off. Is there any other way I can get them off?

If it's a GM lock, a dealer ought to be able to remove it easy. Mine were aftermarket but they still got em off.

You can buy a tool which looks like a lug socket except it's tapered inside and has teeth. Bash it onto the lock with a hammer than use a socket wrench. Easy.

Thanks, I ended up going to a shop to get them off. I couldn't find the extractor tool around here.

try tightening the the lugs on either side of the lock then with a vise grip clamp it on while turning hit the lug with a hammer if they are loose enough they will come off like this.
If not you may need a shop to use a reverse thread socket and an air gun to get these off, don't let them use a torch or cut them off.
I removed hundreds of locks these two ways or with an air hammer and a flat chisel bit.
